If you’ve been placed on probation or parole and wish to move or travel to a different state, your ability to do so will be governed by a special set of rules known as the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision.
Out-Of-State Transfers
Transfers outside of your state of conviction are not automatically granted—however, there are certain things you can do to make your application appear more favorable and to greatly increase your odds for approval of your transfer request.
