Karie was awesome! Unfortunately I suffered from an addiction and got into some trouble because of it. Karie is a caring and compassionate person and understands how addiction can affect every aspect of a person’s life. Through the case, I went to treatment and was able to get my life together. In a few days, I can say I’ve been clean and sober for a year! She could see that I was serious, and that I had changed into a better me. She emphasized this to the prosecuting attorney, and fought for probation as opposed to the three years the state was recommending. She understands that addiction is a disease and prison is not a treatment center. Because of her, I am now able to enjoy a free, clean and sober life! I am so greatful that she was able to represent me during this horrible time in my life! I am forever thankful! I would highly recommend her!
